Verdance

Verdance is a mod for Minecraft: Java Edition that expands the Overworld, introducing new biomes and environments with unique inhabitants and treasures. Verdance focuses upon improving the green spaces of Minecraft, and introducing some life into othewise dry environments.

Trek through the sandy yet lively shrublands as you make the climb to the mulberry forests. Shrublands feature many flowering shrubs, cantaloupes, and other greenery, along with the occassional town ruin, a deserted town with archaeological remains. Mulberry trees grow in the mulberry forests, featuring a unique, golden wood color. Silkworms and silk moths make their home in these mountainous biomes and produce string as they grow.

Verdance adds other features that interact with the new biomes introduced, including stucco blocks that can be dyed and cushions that can be sat on. Verdance is developed by Team Abode, with Chikorita Lover as an artist and programmer.

Verdance is available on Modrinth and CurseForge for the Fabric modloader. Verdance features compatibility with other mods, including Farmer’s Delight.
